Robert Rudy

Robert has extensive strategic and operational experience serving industries dependent on technology, including; insurance, banking, healthcare, retail and media services. As a management consultant with McKinsey & Company, A.T. Kearney, and Paradox Advisors, Robert has:

  • Led strategic reviews focused on improving market position, growth and bottom line results
  • Launched innovative new product and service offerings for firms entering new markets
  • Served as acting COO of a major bank's entry into a new line of business
  • Restructured back office operations to achieve improved customer experience, streamlined processes and lower staffing levels
  • Served as senior member of McKinsey's sales force effectiveness practice

Corporate Executive: Robert served as the Executive Vice President of Strategic Planning at CNA and Provident Mutual, two leading financial services firms. He worked with business units ranging in size between $500 M and $1.5 B to lead growth, operational improvement and organizational restructuring initiatives.

Entrepreneur: Robert co-founded and served as Chairman of InsuranceNoodle, the most successful technology platform for placing commercial insurance risks, and one of the 5 fastest growing insurance agencies in the US. He oversaw technology development, and was the lead inventor of patented technology for risk classification, underwriting and pricing. The business was sold to the global insurance broker, Willis Group, in 2007

Robert holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and a BBA in Finance from the University of Notre Dame.


Richard Madock

Rick has over 25 years of combined consulting and business management experience. He has advised many of the largest life, property and casualty and health insurers in the U.S. on business and operational strategy and M&A initiatives.

Over his career, he has worked with CEOs and leadership teams in other industries including manufacturing, real estate and other services.

He has conducted strategic reviews focused on improving market position, growth and bottom line results. He has broad experience and expertise in areas including eCommerce, risk management and global business operations.

Corporate Executive: Rick was the President of CNA Small Commercial Insurance and a Senior Vice President at Alleghany Corporation, where he was a member of the Chairman's Office. There, he was responsible for development and implementation of corporate initiatives delivering increased market share, acquisition integration, process improvement and profit growth.

Rick has led large scale transformational efforts focused on process improvement, product development, launching new businesses and distribution channel strategy. Line experience includes senior management positions at Fortune 500 firms as well as startups.

Entrepreneur: Rick co-founded and served as CEO of InsuranceNoodle, the most successful technology platform for placing commercial insurance risks, and one of the 5 fastest growing insurance agencies in the US. He managed carrier relationships, built the agency network and customer service operations. The business was sold to the Willis Group in 2007.

Rick holds an MBA from the Peter F. Drucker Graduate School of Management, Claremont University and a BA in Psychology from San Diego University.
